Riders
ATTENTION
READ THIS ARTIST RIDER AGREEMENT and ALL RIDERS CAREFULLY.
The reading, understanding, and compliance of all riders herein are imperative to a successful performance by Jimmy Mack. If any or all provisions in this agreement are not strictly adhered to, the band WILL NOT PERFORM
This Rider to be attached and be made part of the PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT dated_________by and between Jimmy Mack (hereinafter referred to as “ARTIST”) by and between_________________________ (hereinafter referred to as “PURCHASER”).
The following provisions shall be deemed incorporated in the PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT. No changes shall be made without the prior written consent of the ARTIST.
This Artist Rider Agreement Pack is an integral part of the entire PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT. No changes can be made without the prior written consent of the ARTIST. Change request must be submitted in a timely manner. Please initial the bottom right corner of each page to indicate that this rider has been read, understood, and accepted.

PROMOTIONAL & ADVERTISING RIDER
ARTIST shall receive appropriate billing in any and all publicity release, paid advertisements, and all other promotional advertising material including, but not limited to television, radio, internet, newspaper, magazines, posters, banners, fliers, marquees, lobby boards, signs, programs and tickets using only approved trademark logos, publicity photographs, web banners, and art provided by the ARTIST to the PURCHASER and made available on the ARTIST website: www.wickedcreekproductions.com All advertising copy points must be taken from ARTIST bio provided by ARTIST to the PURCHASER.
In spoken advertisements, the sentence shall be read “ ARIZONA BLUES HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE “JIMMY MACK”.
MERCHANDISING
PURCHASER warrants and agrees that no one other than the ARTISTS designated Merchandiser shall have the right to sell or distribute any merchandise with ARTIST trademark, logos, images, or associated likeness. ARTIST shall retain 100% of all merchandising. PURCHASER agrees to provide tables and chairs for merchandising and autograph signing. PURCHASER shall prohibit the sale of unauthorized “bootleg” merchandise on or adjacent to the venue.

TECHNICAL RIDER
It is the desire of the ARTIST that a competent sound company be hired to supply professional sound reinforcement equipment, keeping with what is appropriate to achieve high sound pressure level, smooth power response and uniform dispersion throughout the entire venue. When in a headlining position, ARTISTʼs sound engineer will have full and absolute control of both front of house and monitor systems for the entire day of engagement.
ANY noise restriction MUST be presented to ARTISTʼs Front Of House Engineer before sound check is started..
LOAD IN/OUT:
PURCHASER shall supply a minimum of two (2) stagehands that will be present at load-in. They shall not be dismissed until such time as the sound check is completed, and must be available again from the beginning of ARTISTʼs performance until load-out is completed. PURCHASER shall provide the following able-bodied, sober, English speaking stage crew: Load-in / Load Out: Two (2) stagehands Two (2) loaders (Can be stagehands/loaders)
B. SOUND CHECK:
ARTIST must be given a complete sound check prior to the admittance of the audience. ARTIST shall use the full array of equipment. Doors may be held in order to complete sound check.
2. PURCHASER shall provide ARTIST with one (1) hour for sound check consistent with requirements above.
3. PURCHASER shall provide a minimum of two (2) experienced sound technicians familiar with the supplied sound system, one (1) who will be required to serve as monitor engineer for sound check and ARTISTʼs performance.
SOUND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
1. ARTIST requires that the sound system providerʼs personnel attending the performance be fully experienced in the setup and operation of both supplied monitor and front-of-house systems
2. PURCHASER must provide qualified, sober, system technicians for both sound check, and performance.

SPEAKER SYSTEM:
TECHNICAL RIDER(cont..)
1. ARTIST requires high-powered, top quality, digitally controlled speaker systems, such as Nexo, EAW, LʼAcoustic, Meyer, or equivalent. The system will be configured in full stereo and respond evenly from 20Hz to 20,000 Hz. Dispersion characteristics of the system should be uniform throughout the complete listening area of the venue. To eliminate any obstructed view seating, the speaker system should be either flown from rigging points over and clear of the stage, or elevated to a height in keeping with uniform dispersion and sound pressure level throughout the complete listening area of the venue.
2. Mid and high-packs will be elevated so that a “standing audience” will not obstruct them.
STAGE:
NO cabling is allowed to cross the performance area of the stage. ALL monitor speaker cable, mic cable, etc. must be of sufficient length to be run around the perimeter of the stage if necessary. PURCHASER will provide any additional mixing consoles, microphones, DIʼs, stands, AC supply, etc. to accommodate any support act additionally performing.
FOH and monitor input channels utilized by ARTIST are not to be used by any support act, without consent from ARTISTʼs Front of House Engineer.
FRONT OF HOUSE:
Front of House position shall be raised so that line of sight to the stage will not be obstructed by a standing audience. 2. Preferred consoles are Yamaha PM4K, Midas XL3, Midas XL4. Substitutions must have a minimum of thirty-two (32) inputs, eight (8) subgroups, eight (8) VCA groups and six (6) switchable pre/post-fade auxiliary sends. Each input channel EQ section must have a full-range high pass filter and 4-band EQ with two (2) sweepable mid-band controls. Insert points must be available on all inputs and subgroups.
3. There MUST be adequate lighting for console, processing, EQʼs, and effect racks.
Requirements for FOH outboard equipment are as follows: (2) 31Band, 1/3 Octave Equalizers for main PA adjustment ( Klark Teknik - DN 360 Stereo ) (4) Channels of Noise Gate (BSS, Drawmer, or equiv.) (2) Channels of Compressor/Noise Gate (BSS, Drawmer, or equiv.)

MONITORS:
1. Monitor system must be “rung-out” before ARTISTʼs arrival. 2. Monitor console must have a minimum of thirty-two (32) inputs, eight (8) mix outputs, and one (1) cue wedge output. 3. All inputs will match FOH input list, and will include a talkback mic line from front of house. 4. Each input channel EQ section must have a full-range high pass filter and 4-band EQ with two (2) sweepable mid-band controls. 5. There is to be one (1) 31-band, 1/3 octave equalizer dedicated for each mix, routed thru the insert point of each mix output. 6. There MUST be adequate lighting for console, processing, EQʼs, and effect racks.

BACKLINE:
TECHNICAL RIDER(cont..)
(1) Professional quality five (5) piece drum set with all necessary hardware ( DW, Yamaha, Gretch)
(JIMMY MACK is an SWR endorse, this is required) (2) SWR 900 or 1500 Bass amplifier heads w/ two (2) 8X10 or (4) four 4X10 SWR bass cabinets.
(SWR 900 or 1500 maybe substituted w/SWR one (1) Headlite and (2) Amplites w/ two (2) 8X10 cabinets or one (1) Headlite and (3) Amplites w/ four (4) 4X10 cabinets).
(2) Professional quality guitar amplifiers ( Fender, Mesa Boogie, Marshall)
(1) Hammond B-3 organ w/ bench and two Leslie speakers (1) Motif 7 or 8 w/ tiered keyboard stand
All backline gear must be in proper working condition

Other Stage options will be considered, but must be Approved by band management.
AC POWER REQUIREMENTS:
(3) 4-outlet 20 amp 120V power boxes shall be provided for band equipment on each side of the stage and (2) near the back on each side of the drum riser.

A. HOSPITALITY & DINNER:
 HOSPITALITY RIDER
1.PROMOTER agrees to provide one of the following: a.!Dinner buy-out for ARTIST and ARTIST's crew, ten (10) people!    total, at $25/person, ~ OR ~
b.Catered, hot meal at no cost to ARTIST, for ten (10) people, as described below
2. PROMOTER agrees to stock ARTIST's dressing room with the following throughout the entire event: a.Various flavored hot teas with lemon and honey b.Assorted soft drinks ~iced~ Mt. Dew, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi c.Assorted juices: Orange, Apple, Grape
d.Bottled water ~iced~10oz/1 liter size (non-carbonated) e.Assortment of flavored chips (Doritos, Lays, Fritos) f.One (1) large cooler of clean ice.
(Beverages to be available from time of arrival, until the tour departs)
3. PROMOTER agrees to supply ARTIST's dressing room with the following at scheduled time of arrival: a.Twenty-four (24) assorted (Sprite, Diet Sprite, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi) ~iced~ b.Two (2) Six Pack-Red Bull ~iced~ c.Two (2) Six Pack-Red Bull (sugar free) ~iced~
d.One (1) gallon orange juice. e.One (1) gallon fresh, cold milk (2%) f.Twenty-four (24) bottles non carbonated water. ~iced~ g.Twelve (12) assorted bagels w/ cream cheese h.Two (2) large bags snack chips. i.One (1) box crackers. j.One (1) large snack meat, cheese, and vegetable tray. k.Twenty-four (24) sets sturdy tableware
AND........

*Recycling: Please not that Wicked Creek Artists are environmentally conscious. Please provide recycling bins in the dressing room/catering areas for aluminum cans, glass, and paper. PLEASE NO STYROFOAM CUPS OR PLATES.

B. DINNER:
HOSPITALITY RIDER (cont.)
(Dinners will be advanced on a per show basis)
1. Dinner will be made available for the entire touring crew and will consist of a hot meal including vegetable and pasta or potato, along with soup or salad and dinner rolls. Cold, fresh milk (2%) will also be available for dinner. Sturdy tableware, napkins, and necessary condiments will also be supplied.
C. SHOWTIME:
PROMOTER agrees to supply the following immediately after ARTIST has taken the stage 1. (1) 12-pack domestic beer in bottles. ~iced~ delivered to dressing room 2. (1) 12-pack imported beer in bottles. ~iced~ (Heineken please) delivered to dressing room 3. (4) Large Gatorade (2 Orange-2 Fruit Punch) delivered to dressing room
4. (10) Bath Towels delivered to dressing room 5. (24) 10oz. Bottled Water (non-carbonated)“iced” delivered to stage 6. (10) HAND Towels (NOT wash-towels) For Stage Use delivered to stage

In the event that PURCHASER does not perform fully all of its obligations herein, ARTIST shall have the option to perform or refuse to perform hereunder and in either event PURCHASER shall be liable to ARTIST.
